Submission Guidelines – Art Around the Bay 2026

Submission Deadline: June 5
Exhibition Dates: July 10 – July 19

Key Dates

• Late June – The selection committee meets; acceptance notifications will be sent shortly after.

• July 3 (TBC) – Deadline to deliver artwork to the Legacy Centre. (Drop off locations in Cupids, St. John's, and Clarenville. Times/dates are TBA) 

Rules & Guidelines

• Artists can submit up to 5 works to be considered.

• All artwork must be display-ready (framed, matted, or on stretched canvas).

• Reproductions will not be included. Photography and fine art prints (woodblock, etching, lithography, etc.) are welcome.

•  3D artwork, fine craft, and handmade functional objects (sculpture, textiles, pottery, woodworking, glassblowing, weaving, etc.) are welcome. 

• Promotional materials (business cards, brochures) can be displayed at the fair.

• Artwork must remain on display until the fair closes.

• The submitted artwork was not displayed in last year’s exhibition.

• The Legacy Centre will issue cheques for sold works (50% of the list price) after the fair.

There are two ways to submit your work:

2. Send one single email to artshowclc@gmail.com with the subject line: SUBMISSION 2026

Please include:

1. Contact information:
   a) Name
   b) Phone number
   c) Mailing address -- Any artwork you sell, you will receive a cheque for 50% of the sale price sent to this address

2. Your submission:
   Images of your work (up to 5), plus for each piece:
   a) Title
   b) Medium
   c) Year created
   d) Dimensions
   e) Sale price (artists receive 50% of the sale price)
   
   *Ensure its clear what information is attached to what image. 

3. Short artist bio 

4. Acknowledgement that you have read and agreed to the guidelines above
